Annual sail shade maintenance made easy!
Our sail shades are crafted from premium quality shade cloth and hardware; whilst designed to stand harsh nor’westers they are not designed to withstand snow. We suggest three simple winter maintenance steps around May prior to any likely snowfall to ensure your sails are in pristine condition for when the warmer months return in September.
- Remove sails to avoid unexpected snow damage
- Clean the sail thoroughly to minimize moisture and dust build-up
- Store in a clean dry area
You can easily remove, clean and reinstall the sails or we can remove your sails, thoroughly clean, service hardware (oiling etc), dry, store and refit the sails as the warmer weather returns which is an easy and hassle free option preferred by many for a minimal fee.
