REWARDING APPRENTICESHIP

It always pays to learn “skills of the trade” from the industry’s best.  Our latest apprentice Adam Wilson has been part of our team now for 5 years; recently completing his certificate in First Line Management.  Adam has quickly developed his skill set to become a very talented fabricator not to mention winning “2005 Apprentice of the year”.  We’re very proud to have trained two apprentices winning “apprentice of the year” titles.

This three year apprenticeship is a combination of both block courses in Christchurch; with the majority of requirements practical based with your employer.   There are many advantages of working for a family owned and operated business and small friendly team.  But one aspect many employees value is the creation of a portfolio of work throughout their time at Peter May.  Often as projects are completed photographs are taken which forms part of both the businesses portfolio of work and also the employees.
